Definitions
Store - the Common Thread online store available at commonthread.pl. Seller - the store owner. Buyer - a natural or legal person making a purchase.
- 02
Orders
There is no basket and no instant purchase on this website. An order begins with an enquiry or consultation; the contract is concluded only once the Customer accepts an individual quotation and rug specification, which we confirm to the email address provided. We reserve the right to refuse order fulfillment in justified cases.
- 03
Prices and payments
We do not publish prices on this website — every rug is quoted individually based on style, size, knot density and wool weight. Quotations are given in Polish Zloty (PLN) and include VAT. We accept bank transfers and credit card payments.
- 04
Delivery
We ship within the EU. Delivery time is counted from completion of weaving and the Customer's approval of the finished rug, and takes 7-14 business days. Shipping costs are stated in the quotation.

Custom-made rugs, returns, deposits and complaints
5.1
Definition of a custom-made product
A rug is considered custom-made when it is produced according to the Customer's specifications or clearly personalised needs, including where the Customer selects or approves: a) a non-standard size, b) a specific color palette, c) patterns/motifs, layout or other design elements, d) any other parameters that make the product individual.
5.2
Returns (right of withdrawal)
a) Every Common Thread rug is made to order, to the Customer's specifications — we do not sell ready-made rugs. Accordingly, the right of withdrawal does not apply, as permitted by EU consumer law for goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised. b) Should the Seller exceptionally offer a ready-made rug that was not produced to an individual order, the Customer who is a Consumer has the right to withdraw from that contract within 14 days without giving a reason, in accordance with applicable law.
5.3
Deposits for custom-made orders
a) For custom-made products, the Seller may require a deposit (e.g. 30–50% of the order value) before production begins. b) The deposit secures the costs of starting production and becomes non-refundable once production has started (except where the Seller cannot fulfil the order, or where the product is defective or non-conforming). c) The deposit amount, delivery timeline and final specifications will be confirmed to the Customer before production begins.
5.4
Complaints, defects and non-conformity
a) Whether the rug is ready-made or custom-made, the Customer retains all rights in case of defects or non-conformity with the contract, as provided by applicable law. b) If a defect or non-conformity is discovered, the Customer should contact the Seller, describe the issue, and (if possible) provide photos. c) The Seller will review the complaint and propose an appropriate remedy (e.g., repair, replacement, price reduction or refund) in accordance with applicable law. d) Shipping damage should be reported immediately upon delivery.
